LaMoure County Summer Musical Theatre
LCSMT Actors
LCSMT relies on actors and actresses from surrounding communities for all shows they perform. Most of the talent comes from the communities of LaMoure, Edgeley, Oakes, Lisbon, and even a few from Jamestown which is about an hour from the theatre.
Every actor from the lead to those in the chorus put in many hours of work at practice every night. For about a month the cast practices from around 7pm to 10pm (or whenever the director decides) followed by time helping the technical crew to construct the set. Of course, the cast size depends on the play and so will the practice schedule.

Missoula Children's Theatre Performances
The Missoula Children's Theatre is a touring children's theatre program based in Missoula, MT. They typically stay one week at each stop along their tour. Using 50-60 children from the surrounding area they are able to put on a show in this one week. Telling classical fairy tales each tour group consists of 2 Actors/Directors who bring all the costumes, set pieces, props, and makeup necessary to bring this show together.
